I recently had the pleasure of staying at Peacock Beach Resort in Hambanthota and it was an incredible experience. The hotel is beautifully situated right on the beach, with stunning views of the ocean from every room. The rooms themselves are spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with all the necessary amenities to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.
But what really stood out to me was the amazing service we received during our stay. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, always going above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed. They greeted us with smiles every day, and were happy to help with everything from booking excursions to ordering food and drinks.
Overall, I highly recommend Peacock Beach Resort to anyone looking for a beautiful beachfront hotel with top-notch service. Our stay was truly unforgettable.

Great Stay. Enjoyed the food very much. We had our breakfast and lunch at the hotel. It indeed had a splendid view the garden surrounded by Peacocks. Cannot forget to mention the sea view from the room and we had great evening walking through the shore. I need to appreciate the Staff at Peacock, they welcomed and served us really well. Even the Manager Mr. Minen took a special care about us during the stay. Much Recommended. Will surely visit soon.

Went for a family outing and stayed here for 2 nights 14th and 15th September.... spacious and lush green garden frequented by blue peacocks in the early morning and evening. Beachfront property with a lovely stretch of beach. We were upgraded to a suite and it was spacious and cozy with 2 balconies overlooking the pool and the beach, with an amazing view of the endless horizon. The kids thoroughly enjoyed playing in the garden and splashing about the pool. The buffet spread was varied and lovely. Especially loved the seafood dishes ( my compliments to the Chef). Enjoyed an evening city tour and a beautiful safari experience with a lot of elephants,crocodiles, wild buffaloes and even the docile deer. Highly appreciate the friendly staff and the warm welcome given. Thanks to the F&B Manager for the beach front garden dinner spread... Special thanks to the GM and the new management for their efforts and warmth. Felt like home away from home...Great work and keep it up!!! Would definitely recommend and return again for more beautiful memories

During our stay at Peacock, I was very pleased with the level of service. All the staff I encountered were extremely helpful and very friendly, from the people cleaning my room to the managers being hands on to help us. Apart from a few insects,being one of the few flaws which can't be helped,they have a well equiped gym,two nice pools and were able to support our business needs. Great staff obviously meant room service was good and any other catering requests were promptly met.The food was good for the price we payed. I can very confidently say my stay at Peacock was a very pleasant and memorable one. Once again, thank you to all the staff.

The ocean views from our room and throughout the resort are breath-taking. Love being able to see and here the ocean in our room, and see the peacocks on the grounds. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The staff were kind and always helpful. Breakfast and dinner meals were very good. I had issues with the WiFi dropping, but my husband did not on his device. We wish we could have stayed longer!

"This is one if the most wonderful spacious places on earth. The gardens and choice of 2 luxurious pools are immaculately kept, while Lucky the Manager goes out of his way effortlessly to find out anything you wish to make happen, he’s a perfect host.
The kitchen made me a Srilankan rice plate that was the best meal I had in Srikanka.
It’s rare to find such personal care and I came back a second time to see they had gone overboard on my room view and comfort .
Used my phone hotspot for WiFi.
Beds are super comfortable .

Mr. Kushan..as to my knowledge you were one of the ex-operational managers of the property..I myself recommend the place that the property had had a great improvement after the new managent. I'm an annual guest to this property and I've been at the property on that certain day...my attempt for this feedback is all because I've personally monitored the Resort's effort to make a customer satisfy to an utmost level.

We had lunch at the hotel. We didnt see any other guests during our visit. Food was good and was enough for the meal and delivered in a reasonable time. Good place with a sea view. the lady who served us was very polite.

We were down south leaving Colombo behind and were staying in Dikwella - many things to do and see - we are not tourists but need to see our country a bit more. Stopped into The Peacock Hotel - reserving judgement despite horrific reviews in the media sites - we were late for lunch, but we received the best of service in any hotel I have stayed in or worked in here in Sri Lanka in recent times. Myself and my husband are Hoteliers and our standards are high - makes us difficult to stay anywhere without finding criticism. However, wejust dropped in for an unexpected lunch - it was superb. What the old guide books say is incorrect - please give this hotel a chance - the outside decor is a bit daunting but the food, the welcome, the cleanliness was top notch. Next time we escape from Colombo and head to do our consultancy work in the south we shall really make an effort to stay here.
